Eight Belles Toll For Thee - Horses and Mankind Together
The great poet John Donne believed that we are all diminished when anyone dies, and I think that we are all diminished in some way by Eight Belles’ death. Perhaps there are bells ringing somewhere right now for Eight Belles; maybe this article is my bell for her. If just a few more of us listen, and act, then the world can be a better place for horses and humans alike.
