Giving Water to the Horse
Always remember that the internal systems of a horse are very delicate and sensitive, so great care should always be taken whenever you feed them or give them water to drink. Generally speaking, a horse essentially needs around 5-15 gallons of water in a day; though the quantity may vary according to the horse’s individual needs. However you might notice that in the winter the horse does not drink enough water which might lead to dehydration; so to prevent this, give salt blocks to the horse as it will cause the horse to drink more water.
