Horses Have an Important Place in American Culture
Horses possess an important place in American history, having been in North America since the time of the colonies in the east, and a century or more prior to that in the southwest. Horses were originally used for two primary purposes, transportation and work. They were certainly the fastest means of getting from point A to point B by land.
