Less is More in Training a Horse
As riders we too often take the easy way out. We avoid resistance and in doing so create long term issues. In most lessons when the rider is asked t move out they will tend to bend to the left, which is the natural and preferred side from the horse’s perspective. To prepare our horse we need to look at doing things differently. Ask your horse to over to the right, initially you may experience resistance as they are use to going to the easy side.
