Need a New Equine Friend? Consider Adoption!
When one thinks about rescue horses, a vision of a stick-thin, debilitated animal comes to mind, and unfortunately, that can sometimes be true. However, many animals are taken in by rescue organizations in better condition. These may be ex-race horses, ex-show horses and other well trained animals. And even those stick-thinned rescue horses may be a diamond in the rough. A year and much TLC later, those horses can be adopted out and become an equine partner ready enjoy their new lease on life.
