The Unwanted Horse Solution
Just the other day, Idaho pumped out legislation aiming to promote the slaughter of horses for human consumption. Alleging complaints of rampant starving and abandoned horses, politicians and lobbyists are back promoting the construction of horse slaughter plants never researching the egregious violations and the reasons the three remaining US horse slaughter plants have all been shut down in the US. In recent months, a horse slaughter plant was shut down in Canada for polluting local water sources as well as questions about humane animal welfare.
