Trick Horse Training
Horse training refers to a set of practices inculcated by humans on horses that enable the animal to perform certain activities and exhibit certain behaviors when asked to by humans. Historically, horses were trained for, but not limited to, the following: warfare horses were trained to be warrior horses, to be steadfast allies of both conquered and conquering soldiers, to charge and to seize. Farm work horses were trained to be a useful part of the domestic “household”; to be subservient and menial, to bear the fruits of harvest on their back.
