Well Grounded Stand For Farrier
Healthy feet are vital to all horses from the tiniest of minis to the largest of drafts and if you cannot pick them up to care for them, you run the risk of your horse being permanently compromised. Maybe you can pick the feet up, but the horse tells you when to put it back down, often times on top of your foot. Or, your horse is fine after a ten-minute battle of trying to throw his 1000-pound body off balance long enough to snatch up a foot. Whatever the issue, these lessons will teach your horse to accept the process, as well as being a cooperative and active participant.
